Course Information

The purpose of the Critical Care Programme is to develop competent healthcare professionals within critical care areas. One of the most challenging tasks has been to create a structure that supports the development of competence across the region to a common standard. It is essential that students and all those associated with supporting the course understand what is required to successfully complete the Programme

The student is placed at the centre of the course and it is their responsibility to take control of their learning and development needs. It is incumbent on the mentors, lecturers, Practice Educators and managers to assist in the learning process as much as possible. However, it is equally as important for students to read and commit themselves to these responsibilities before commencing the course
